Rhys and his volunteers treat you like family from the moment you sign up. From the personal phone call you receive before the race, to the unbelievable volunteers who want to see you to the finish line, to the incredible awe-inspiring landscape that Wales delivers. The entire event is top notch! And meeting incredible runners from all over, forging lifetime friendships is priceless. I highly recommend this race to anyone who has a zest for adventure!! This was truly a life changing experience for me and my hubby….. Thank you Wild Horse 200! We’ll be back!

The best ultra marathon organisation in the world. Nowhere will you find a more supportive, inclusive organisation. If you are ultra-curious or a veteran you will enjoy these events like no other. I have raced all their races, I have been dead last, and I have volunteered, there is no experience like it!

Fantastic event that is totally made by the superb organisation and the amazing crew of volunteers.
The Epona is a tough event which you would expect for a 100 miler but the payoff is out of this world.
The views on the course are simply breathtaking but this pales next to the complete support of Rhys and the rest of the crew. I felt special at every single moment of this race right from the pre race phonecall, registration and pre race briefing through every checkpoint and right to the finish line, nothing was too much for the crew no matter the time of the day.

The Epona is a brilliant event put on by awesome people. With generous cut off times, this race is great as your first 100miler, or equally it attracts plenty of strong runners if you’re looking for a tasty race in the mountains!
